Diabetes & Nutrition Education
Managing diabetes involves making informed choices about nutrition to maintain blood sugar levels within a healthy range. A well-balanced diet rich in whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables is essential for individuals with diabetes. Monitoring carbohydrate intake, practicing portion control, and choosing foods with a low glycemic index can contribute to better blood sugar control. Consulting with a registered dietitian or healthcare professional can provide personalized guidance to create a nutrition plan that aligns with diabetes management goals.
